RetroComedy.com posted the 15 Creepiest Vintage Ads of All Time.  I have to agree, these are very disturbing.  A few that I found particularly odd:

These commercials by Jim Henson from 1957 to 1961 feature puppets promoting Wilkins Coffee in, shall we say, no uncertain terms.  This stuff would never be allowed on television now.  Well not as a commercial involving Muppets anyway.

This was by far my favorite Superbowl commercial.

This is a great T-Mobile ad filmed at 11am on Thursday January 15th, 2009 at London’s Liverpool Street station.   350 dancers performed a surprise routine as commuters passed through the station. Watch people’s reactions as seemingly regular folks in the crowd start a choreographed dance.   If this doesnt’ make you smile then I don’t understand you at all…  Don’t we all need a little spontaneous dancing in our lives?
