I recommend checking out LivingDot if you are in the market for blog host.  They make it super easy to get up and running with a WordPress or Moveable Type blog.

Just register your domain, then purchase a hosting plan from LivingDot ($10.95/month for the base plan).  You can have them install Movable Type or WordPress on your domain at no extra cost.  You’ll be sent a login to your site as well as WordPress or Moveable Type login.  So far in my experience the up time is very good, and response to support questions is speedy and helpful.  Great price too.
